Describes the key accountabilities of a job/ the functional knowledge which characterize a job

• Development, implementation and accountability for medicla programs which optimize the proper use of Merck products, improve the capability of HCP in the therapeutic area and ultimately enhance the outcome of patient benefit.

Description needs to cover the main tasks/ core activities of the job, geographical aspects, business expertise, problem solving, complexity of tasks and problems/ innovative solutions

• Understand the process of project execution with compliance requirements


• Clearly assess and define the unmet needs and knowledge gap of oncology physicians, design the medical educational program accordingly


• Conduct the ME & CME activities with high quality and strict timeline


• Support strategy & participate in due diligence


• Strategic & scientific input for business


• Ongoing communication on Merck Serono’s science with external stakeholders

Required professional experience and necessary training

• Bachelor degree or above, major in medical, biology or related field.


• Fluent in English, both literal and oral.

Necessary professional experience

• 2-year experience for project management in international pharmaceutical industry.


• Rich experience in planning, design, market analysis, as well as the cooperation and team cohesion.

Specifies personal skills and competencies required

• Completion of GCP training is required.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with good relationship building, negotiation and listening skills.
