Scope of Role:
? Work with country and group teams to drive and implement digital capabilities for China to support Retail Banking’s business agenda
? Lead the team to manage digital channels, including online/mobile/SMS banking, 3rd party payments, Workbench and WeChat, to ensure the service level and business continuity
? Support the rollout of new internal policies and regulatory projects by enhancing existing digital capabilities or implementing new functions
? Lead the team to perform BAU and ad-hoc digital channel process review, gap analysis, risk review, tests and vendor management
Key Responsibilities/Challenges:
? Lead the team to roll out new digital capabilities in China to drive business growth by working with country and group teams, including idea generation, key benefits identification, cost estimation, business case preparation, system solution, plan approvals, country BRD development, FSD review, process/ risk / information security analyses, budget and project management, Testing and Implementation resources allocation
? Assist and cooperate with related stakeholders to make sure projects delivered on time
? Lead the team to perform and involve related UAT to ensure CRs and enhancements release with no defects
? Ensure the basic information, including digital channel introduction, T&C, manuals and FAQs are updated timely on all client-facing touch points, internal portals and give adequate trainings to frontline regularly.
? Monitor all counterparts (Frontline/RCC) comply with the procedures and aware of new features
? Assist line manager to run financial modeling to validate the business case of launch
? Lead the team to closely monitor digital channels’ performance and incidents and ensure issues can be solved timely to comply with the regulatory requirements and maintain digital channels’ service level of the bank
? Support the rollout of new internal policies and regulatory projects to enhance existing digital capabilities or implement new functions
? Lead the team to perform BAU and ad-hoc digital channel gap analysis, risk review, tests
? vendor management
? Perform market research and identify the potential opportunities to develop digital channel strategies and drive business growth
? Regulatory report preparation
? Handle any problem or challenges that arises from business or BAU operations
Selection Criteria:
? University degree preferably in business or technology
? 12-15 years working experience preferable in financial industry
? At least 5 years of leading and managing a team
? Relevant experience in managing and launching business or digital projects which include implementation of a technology platform.
? Strong technical sense and business acumen
? Strong execution ability to manage, coordinate to fix or launch digital functions
? Resilience, with sense of responsibility, communication and interpersonal skills.
? Acute in identifying opportunities and resolutions.
? Result-oriented and strong execution skills
? Good command of written, spoken English and Chinese
Relevant exposure to each of the specific value streams will be advantageous to your application:
? In depth understanding of existing SC RB China’s systems or processes
? In depth understanding of digital trends in China or/and overseas
? Relevant experience in distribution/digital development preferably with a financial institution
