Purpose of the Role:
Provide the business with all aspects of IT support. Administer and support all local and Corporate IT Systems according to corporate policies and procedures. Escalate problems with Regional IT, Central Heldpdesk or vendors where appropriate to ensure SLA compliance.
1) To deliver quality operational & support services to fulfil the business & IT goals
Windows Active Directory Service administration incl. GPO’s
Software and patch distribution
Maintain understanding of corporate operations & applications systems
Hardware Installation were appropriate
Provide applications and technical support to all end users
Server Management
Monitor all IT systems and communication lines
2) To maintain current IT structure by technical support
Provide backup management on consigned systems as per local backup policy
Advise management of potential customer requirements or enhancements
Identify any trends, problems or emerging issues for action and communicate them to the Management
Maintain inventory control of all hardware and software items and ensure all users comply with local copyright laws
Install hardware and software
Manage agreed IT projects
Constantly adhere to corporate and local IT policies and standards
3) To Administrate IT Systems
Maintain User ID register according to Prosegur IT Policy
Maintain Hardware Inventory
Maintain existing Firewall, LAN, WLAN and WAN infrastructure
Identification and notification to Manager of potential system faults that could result in system down-time
Report on Service Levels to Country Manager
4) To provide Help Desk function
Answer all incoming calls in a professional manner and in accordance with local telephone policies
Log all incoming queries into the Help Desk System
Insure that queries are assigned to appropriated support areas
Insure that Service Levels are Maintained
Report on discrepancies in the Help Desk setup
5) Manage IT Financials
Identify business IT requirements and budget them accordingly in cooperation with regional and central IT Management
Control cost and keep in line with IT budget
Raise investment requests (PGI) when required
