Main responsibilities

· To manage through planning, co-ordination and control, the entire Transport functions pertaining to outbound Logistics.

· To co-ordinate with corporate and factory customer service and planning departments for order dispatch and insures that required cut-off points are established and meet.

· Responsible for activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles on a daily basis.

· To coordinate with Logistics department for dispatch of corporate products, materials and ensure timely deliveries, report delays and deviations to dispatch plan to corporate customer service, planning and management teams were required & pin pointed.

· Responsible for insuring purchase and customer order processing in corporate IT tools IFS and ETS. Prepare system generated invoices and other dispatch documents precisely and accurately.

· Responsible for maintaining proper records of all dispatches and submit reports as & when required.

· Responsible for transport requirements that are necessary.

· Must communicate with warehouse or loading dock workers and truck drivers as well as with other departments in the company, such as customer service, purchasing and planning.

· Monitors and reviews flows, processes, and identifies areas for improvement, drive down cost, and improvement of service levels.

Skills

· Should be organized, analytical, motivated and a capable problem-solver. He - she should possess strong communication skills, speaks and writes the English language fluently considering he - she often deals with everyone from customer service, planning, logistic to company management at other Eltek internal and external international locations. He - she needs to work well independently or as a member of a team, and have sound planning, forwarding, dispatch skills and basic knowledge of customs process.
