职位描述：
JOB SUMMARY:
Develop and execute an Asia Pacific Regional category sourcing strategy. Develop category business plans in response to business needs and cooperate with procurement teams across CommScope facilities and business units to drive global leverage. Responsible for category management region wide to produce multi-million dollar cost savings for the MRO, Indirect and Services categories.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate / communicate the category strategy to the organization while identifying new opportunities to support CommScope objectives. Analyze the global category spend / supply base driving the development of the category strategic initiatives.
2. Provide the timely execution of early supplier selection into the product development cycle. Work in conjunction with business units and suppliers to identify new materials / services to be strategically sourced. Enhance the working relationship between the regions and supply base management for category products.
3. Serve as the Regional lead for category supplier opportunities / concerns as it relates to suppliers, time lines and contracts/agreement interpretation.
4. Interprets contracts, organizes or processes correspondence with sub or prime contracting parties and monitors fulfillment of contractual obligations.
5. Ensure the timely negotiation of all agreements included but not limited to Strategic Sourcing Agreements (including the development of framework for productivity and quality plans), Memorandums of Understanding, confidential disclosures, consignment, etc. Facilitate / foster the negotiations of vendor agreements, encouraging compliance by both supplier and end users. Implement supplier value measurements to ensure suppliers are meeting CommScope requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A completed Bachelor''''s Degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field.
2. 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Materials/Purchasing or Supply Chain business processes.
3. Proficiency in the English language.
4. Procurement experience at the leadership level; must have experience working with senior management and understand the role of procurement within the manufacturing and product development arenas.
5. Very strong negotiating skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
6. Strong computer skills in MS Office tools and ERP systems.
7. Travel up to 25% may be required in this position.
8. Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from all cultures.
9. Strong leadership capabilities to manage projects, deliver results and to build cross-cultural teams.
10. Must have a strategic focus with the ability to analyze, formulate and focus on results to support Global Supply Chain business goals and strategies.
