Key Duties:
Manage the product data in order to deliver right support to purchasing team.
提供产品数据分析支持,与采购部紧密合作
Analyze product sales to provide guidance in buy-planning and monitor in-season KPIs to give recommendations to maximized profitability.分析产品销售情况,监控每季产品的KPI并为销售量提升提供支持
Management of the seasonal data analysis (before season starts)每季产品数据分析(季前)
o Lead pre-season guidance and post-season hindsight to product purchasing plans by season; at family level and for key items to achieve sales plan,指导季前季后的购买方向
o Cooperate with the purchasing team to translate the collection strategy into data analysis与采购部合作,分析实际的产品销售方案
Control of the purchasing budget采购预算控制
The senior Product Analyst has to control PM in order to notice new and/or irregular elements about the budget use;
Drive the “Buying authorization” process and develop recommendations when any discrepancies. Control and update on a weekly basis the TDB in order to support Product Managers throughout the purchasing process (check commitment rate, entry coefficient…)Implement & monitor all the indicators in Storeland before launching the collection and during the season,
Analyze and follow up of sales performance & products (during season)分析并跟进销售及产品表现(季中)
The PA reports, tracks, analyses performance data and makes appropriate recommendations in order to improve the product performance;制作产品分析报表,分析销售业绩及为提高营业额做出适当的产品推荐
o Provide specific performance analyses per family,
o Ensure the accuracy of sales performance analyses,
o Update and follow-up the purchasing strategy; control market share, discount rate, margin rate, target, revised by period and by family,
o Propose action plan for next seasons in order to adapt products to the customers’ demand,
o Seek opportunities for new business approaches and drive analytical needs to increase productivity and profitability,
Build data warehouse and maintain reports with Business intelligence software建立并维护产品分析数据库
o Focus on product analysis, data mining for product life cycles
o Alert if notice any deviance that may curb the objectives achievement,
o Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to develop the cross department reports
o Build reports and analysis for new store down to the product and that maximizes sales and profit.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in Data analysis
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Technical Science or related field
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience using statistical modeling and data mining techniques
- Track-record of independent learning and technical problem-solving
- Ability to develop and communicate creative solutions to technical problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience product services industry, knowledge of product life cycles is ideal
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think conceptually
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets from a wide variety of sources
- Data analysis experience
- Experience of SPSS
