Directly reporting to Asia VP of Purchasing and member of Asia Purchasing Council
1) Strategy Development Support:
a) Take leading role in purchasing strategy development for Asia divisions
b) Lead key strategic initiatives as hands on with divisional resources
c) Track progress of each initiative and involve and escalate based on trends
2) ASPP Deployment in Asia
a) Work closely with global ASPP lead to ensure the deployment in Asia divisions
3) Data management, analysis and reporting
a) Support Asia divisions to check and correct system data (AGPS/ERP/PLM): bi-weekly for actual, quarterly for forecast , on demand for others
b) Summarize data and report out for Asia divisions and global PLS: monthly for actual, quarterly for forecast
c) Manage reporting schedule for Asia divisions: monthly for actual, quarterly for forecast
d) Analyze data to support strategic actions: as needed
e) System/control manual related support for Asia divisions and global commodities: on demand
4) Meeting arrangement and participation
a) Asia purchasing council (schedule, prepare agenda, summarize minutes): quarterly
b) Asia monthly follow-up (schedule, prepare template): monthly
c) Asia quarterly business review (schedule, prepare agenda): quarterly
d) Asia purchasing controller council (prepare agenda, lead discussions, summarize minutes): weekly for conf call, yearly for F2F
5) Global alignment on processes, rules, etc.
a) Join global purchasing controller council to provide comments and raise issues from Asia divisions: bi-weekly for conf call, yearly for F2F
b) Share global instructions with Asia divisions: as needed
6) Asia sourcing board
a) Schedule and run Asia souring board: weekly
b) Manage eSourcing system as sourcing board chairman: weekly
