Cortland Position Description

The team leader will report to the associate of fund administration and lead expansion efforts in one of our growing fund administration team – private equity fund - in Nanjing office.
The team leader will be in charge of implementation of private equity funds in Yardi system. The team leader will oversight of performing daily processing activity in Yardi system and striking the fund NAV for those funds. Examples include reconciliation of cash and positions, processing of capital activity, execution of money movement instructions, booking of accruals, and allocation of P&L to individual investors including administering waterfall incentive calculations.

Job Description

- Recruit, train, manage and develop a team of accounting and financial reporting professionals
- Take the lead of Yardi system implementation: Work with US colleagues on training and take initiate on problem solving.
- Maintain company, market, accounting and regulatory compliance standards (China and global); stay current on trends in fund structures, accounting conventions and asset classes
- Collaborate and provide leadership and best practices with external auditors, including client audits, as well as internal company audits
-Actively contribute as a member of the company’s Global Operations planning group
-Ability to work with management in English

Experience & Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive, bright self-starter with an outstanding level of professionalism, organization, and communication skills.

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or other accounting credential preferred
-3-10 years of accounting or finance experience; private equity, real estate related experience would be a plus
-1-2 years of experience of managing a team
-Entrepreneurial and excited by new challenges; Strong initiative to learn quickly
-Strong communicator with internal and external parties
-Fluent English is required
-Experience with accounting system; Yardi experience would be a plus 举报 分享
