Responsibilities:
Prepares Project RAMS Plans that define the RAMS objectives and tasks to be performed, and deliverables to be produced at various phases of each project.

The work required will vary from project to project, depending on the contract requirements. Typically, RAMS Engineer responsibilities include;

- Apportions Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability and Safety targets to ensure hardware is being designed to meet contractual requirements;
- 制定可靠性,可获得性,可维修性以及安全性目标,以确保设计的硬件符合合同要求;
- Prepares RAMS Report(s) as part of the RAMS Demonstration program for each project.
- 为每个项目的RAMS显示计划编写RAMS报告作;
- Prepares Reliability Report as part of Reliability monitoring and improvement program;
- 编写可靠性报告,作为可靠性管控以及改进计划的一部分;
- Supports the related design engineers to perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and/or Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) at subsystem and system level to identify all single failure points that are critical to operational success of the system.
- 支持相关设计工程师进行系统以及子系统层面的失效模式以及效果分析和/或者失效树分析(FTA),辨别所有对系统运行成功有关键作用的单个失效点;
- Performs RAMS predictions and calculations to verify compliance to customer requirements and to recommend RAM improvement strategy.进行RAMS预测以及计算,核实与根据客户要求的一致性并且提出RAM改进策略建议。
- Performs Spares Analysis and identify recommended spare parts list to support the system maintenance within the required years of operation.
- 进行备件分析,确定备件清单建议,在车辆运行期内进行系统维护;
- Prepares Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis that will predict the total cost of utilizing the propulsion system through its entire life span。
- 编制生命周期成本(LCC)分析,预测牵引系统整个运行生命周期中的成本;
- Performs MTBF calculations based on site data from PI to support FRACAS - Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System process.
- 根据PI提供的现场数据进行MTBF计算,支持FRACAS运行-失效报告,分析以及纠正措施系统
- Evaluates the reliability of designs and design changes for hardware by reviewing technical specifications, design & Engineering Change Control documentation.
- 进行技术规范,设计和工程更改控制文件评审,对硬件设计的可靠性以及设计变更进行评估;
- Assures that RAM requirements are met by participating in hardware design reviews.
- 参加硬件设计评审,确保满足RAM要求;
- Provides evaluations & recommendations with respect to RAMS in formal design reviews and by raising Change Reports (CRs) against any RAMS issues.
- 以正式的设计评审或者以对RAMS问题提出变更报告(CRs)的形式,提供RAMS评估和建议;
- Evaluates the reliability of designs and design changes for hardware by reviewing technical specifications, design & Engineering Change Control documentation having direction from the Group Lead and work closely with other team members, both inside the RAM team and from other functional teams, to meet the project objectives.
- 根据部门领导要求,通过对技术规范,设计和工程更改控制文件评审,对硬件设计以及设计变更可靠性进行评估;与RAM团队以及其他function同事紧密合作,满足项目目标;
- Prepares and maintains engineering department processes and procedures relating to RAMS

Qualifications:
1.BSC in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
车辆电气工程相关专业学士或硕士学历
2.A minimum of 2 years RAMS related experience working in an engineering organization which performs electrical system design work.
至少2年在电气设计工程部的RAMS相关经验
3.Familiar with RAMS standards applicable in the railway industry, including EN50126.
熟悉铁路行业的RAMS标准,包括EN50126 等
4.Experience with or exposure to FMEA, FTA, RAM analyses, plus statistical modelling and analysis of complex hardware systems are assets.
熟悉和接触FMEA,FTA,RAMF分析以及统计建模和硬件系统的综合分析者优先;
5.A knowledge of system requirements definition/design, RAM analyses.
