Requirements
Diploma/ GCE 'A' level or equivalent in Business/Logistics, with minimum 3 year related experience or Tertiary educated in Business/Logistics, with minimum 1 year related experience;
Strong project management knowledge and background is preferred;
A clear systematic & analytical thinker, who is process orientated;
Possesses a structured approach to problem solving;
Ability to translate concepts to reality, and clearly communicate that reality;
Can operate within a rapidly changing environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Export department. Organize the structure to insure excellent customer service and profitability. Set and measure performance standards for individuals and teams. Manage staff development of department through active recruitment, training, and quality management activities. Provide pro-active customer service for all clients handled by department.
Develop and maintain excellent service to internal and external customers at all times.
Train and advise team and clients in areas of Export Administration Regulations, Consularization Regulations, and export services.
Conduct training courses and seminars for staff and clients in areas of shipping and export administration regulations and procedures.
Develop written procedures for handling each account served by team, including classifications, schedule of service fees, shipment entry and booking process, and any other related information. Manage the appropriate databases to reflect these procedures.
Identify areas of concern in the clients' export process through monitoring of team performance against Company and client standards, regular audit of shipment documents and accounting, and periodic client reviews.
Support client in regulatory compliance by suggesting solutions in concern areas and by providing research and advice services in the areas of Export Administration Regulations, Department of Commerce Regulations, Consularization Regulations, Uniform Custom Practice 500 (UCP 500), and recordkeeping.
Manage staff development through recruitment and training efforts.
Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within department.
Address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies of the Company.
Communicate to manager and assist in the solution of any problems or irregularities discovered within the assigned transactions.
Adhere to all shipping and export regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
Diploma/GCE 'A'level or equivalent in Business/Logistics, with minimum 3 year related experience or Tertiary educated in Business/Logistics, with minimum 1 year related experience;
Strong project management knowledge and background is preferred;

Languages and Communication Skills
Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
Computer Skills
Good PC skill
