Purpose of Position:

§ To provide demand management with respect to delivery, inventory, shipments, releases and obsolescence.

§ The demand planner is responsible for ensuring all sales requirements are internally understood so that commitments are achieved or surpassed. This is achieved by liaising with our suppliers to ensure a predictable, accurate and consistent delivery of products.

§ The demand planner is actively involved in the day to day operational processes required to ensure the demand fulfilled on time.

Principal Accountabilities:

§ Purchase and procurement of goods from intercompany suppliers & external suppliers ensuring timely replenishment of stock to meet customer requirements

§ Follow up the POs, Updated the delivery date in system

§ Anticipate potential stock shortage and take action to avoid them;

§ Update and evaluate the forecast information, providing review analysis

§ Maintain strong relationships with the sales, Q&A, Marketing groups, to gather effective information and to keep them informed of issues

§ Maintain effective relationships with external suppliers, driving quality, speed and cost;

§ Prepare monthly reports and others based on the requirement

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

§ University graduate or equivalent, over three years planning experience in MNC environment;

§ Strong written and oral communications required

§ Ability to use and understand MRP/ERP systems, experience in SAP is a plus, Microsoft office.

§ Able to handle multiple tasks and independently prioritize workload

§ Self starter
