Position Responsibilities
1. The Planning and Logistics Leader will lead the Logistics function at Taicang for both Instruments and Reagents. The candidate will also set up a new Planning section which will perform master planning/scheduling for materials within the SAP ERP environment. The candidate will also lead Import and Export section.
2. This candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the these functions as well implementing SAP for his department during the execution phase of the project.
3. Candidate will also optimize workflows and be responsible to report metrics in Global SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operating Plan) and Inventory Metrics in Global Operations Meetings.
Experience Required
1.Candidate to have at least 5 years working experience in leading a Logistics team as well as experience in managing import /export teams.
2.Additional experience in Production Planning (Master Scheduling) will be a plus.
3.Conversant in SAP (ERP) working environment.
4.Candidate to have excellent written and spoken english language skills.
5.At least a degree in Logistics, Engineering, Science or Business related management.
