受美国客户公司委托，现招募质量工程师要求如下，本岗位常驻宁波/杭州：

驻厂质量工程师（偏电子）
Quality technician


SUMMARY:
Works in the areas of inspection and product/process quality control acting as a key liaison between Johnson Level and its’ Chinese suppliers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspection and Quality Record Maintenance
? Performing final, in-process, and/or receiving inspections per documented requirements from open purchase orders, then document/communicates results as required.
o Performing first piece inspection of set ups from open purchase orders, then documents/communicates results as required.
o Performing process audits to assure that supplier processes as they relate to Johnson product are operating in a state of statistical control then documents/communicates results as required.

Non-Conforming Material
? Responsible for the identifying, sorting, disposition, and documenting of non-conforming product as well as communicating this information to suppliers for continuous improvement.

Training
? Assist Department Managers, regardless of who the supplier is, in training of Johnson quality procedures/requirements. This includes working directly with production employees on quality requirements and reviewing assembly procedures to assure that quality standards are consistently met.

Continuous Improvement
? Responsible for follow up on any/all corrective/preventive actions resulting from product inspections, process audits, engineering change orders, etc.
? Responsible for driving supplier quality initiative to continually meet and improve supplier performance on key metrics
? Maintain supplier performance, including formal Performance Improvement Plans as appropriate
? Drive continuous improvement of suppliers’ quality and delivery performance.
? Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality and delivery of sourced components or finished goods

Other
? May temporarily be assigned to other tasks requiring comparable or lesser skill levels.



Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
? Excellent written communication skills in Mandarin and English. Oral will be a plus.
? Product line expertise with a manufacturing/engineering background of electronic products is preferred.
? Able to travel regularly throughout China to visit potential and existing suppliers when required.
? Able to work flexible business hours to facilitate communication between company and suppliers in China
? Must be able to maintain confidentiality and avoid conflicts of interest with company as well as potential or existing suppliers
? Minimum of 5-7 years of supplier qualification, development, and manufacturing assessment
? Process improvement experience, knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and in-depth understanding of related processes
? Demonstrated effective interpersonal, teamwork, collaboration and conflict resolution skills
? Strong problem solving skills
? Experience in manufacturing environments
? Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
? Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications and be familiar with SPC (Statistical Process Control). Requires a basic understanding of quality methods, procedures, and standards used in a production environment.
? A hands-on demonstration to determine ability to use quality measuring devices such as a micrometer, caliper and gage tools will be expected.
? Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
? Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
? College degree required; Engineering, Quality or related field preferred



Physical Requirements:
? Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
? Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and/or Skype
? Must be able to travel domestically and internationally

Environment:
Will be required to travel 65% of the time. Will be required to travel to and access industrial settings which may require use of hearing protection, safety glasses and other equipment as needed. 举报 分享
