Job Description:
· To understand and document customers requirements and specifications
· To Coordinate and submit PPAP to customers and coordinate with suppliers
· To perform supplier audits on new suppliers as required
· Prepare supplier training materials and conduct training for suppliers
· Review quality – dimensional and material testing and other specification testing results from suppliers for incoming lots and ensure adherence to customer specifications
· Perform audits on supplier factories and track improvements
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in die casting industry
* Engineering education is desired
* Process engineering, experience with gages and fixtures, a plus
Key Metrics:
* Supplier PPM
* APQP / Project Management Success
*SSGB Six Sigma Belt
