Main Responsibilities:

·Always works safely, and enforces safe work practices in operations.

·Monitor plant running from the perspective of process, safeguard technical aspects of process.

·Propose improvement, define and execute optimization studies for plant performance; safety, productivity, yields, energy consumption, quality, waste, etc.

·Prepare Process Flow Diagram (PFD), mass balance, line sizing, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (PID). Design/sizing of process equipment (e.g. column, heat exchanger, vessel, pump.) and prepare equipment/instrument data sheets.

·Keep on tracking bill of materials, OEE, QC/analysis data, and process data etc. during daily production. Be adept and logical to use data analysis for resolving issues, preventing issues and explaining causes.

·Take part in/lead multidisciplinary project teams with other process/discipline engineers. Commissioning and start up of new process unit. Assist in new processes implementation.

·Actively involved in operator training, SOP preparation.

·Initiate and execute Process Hazard Analysis evaluations.

Job Requirement

Requirement:

·University degree or above

·At least 5 years experience from process position in the Chemical industry. Preferably with experience in both continuous and batch production, and at least a few years manufacturing experience.

·Preferably the process engineer shall have working knowledge regarding QHSE issues, project management and cost control.

·Be able to guide a small technical single/multi disciplinary team.

·Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese are required.

·Good skills in working with spreadsheets, databases, word processing and presentation programs, AutoCAD are required
