JOB SUMMARY

The Soft Goods Engineer is responsible for new soft goods development – ON TIME and ON SPEC and ON BUDGET. He/she shall be accountable for product cost analysis, schedule management, general project management, and engineering throughout the debug, and production stages. He/she should be required to ensure that all new products are produced within the developmental timeline and budget, and also comply with product specifications and all regulatory standards.

纺织品布料工程师负责新产品的开发- 按期、合规格、合预算。须在调试和生产阶段进行产品成本分析、调度管理、项目综合管理以及工程事宜。须确保所有的新产品都在计划进度内和预算内,符合产品规格及所有相关监管标准。

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead development process from product specifications release through mass production.
2. Evaluate engineering and pre-production samples to confirm that the samples conform to the product specifications, testing requirements, and regulatory standards.
3. Review product BOM for accuracy as well as manufacturing cost reduction opportunities.
4. Provide recommendations for engineering design and offering workable solutions for all manufacturing failures.
5. Monitor ongoing project schedules and update development progress tracking record.

JOB REQUIREMENT
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
教育背景

1. College degree or above in “Fashion Design and Engineering” or “Fashion Design” required.
2. 2-4 years working experience in relevant industries, preferably in garment or sewing products.

SKILLS:
技能：

1. Understanding of garment or soft goods engineering process.
2. Experience in fabric usage analysis and making digital layout.
3. Experience in product BOM analysis and familiar with garment CAD.
4. With English ability CET 4 or above.
