Position Title: Backstage & Inventory Manager, M & M’s World
Reports To: Store Director, M & M’s World
Purpose of Role:
The primary focus of this role is to manage a team of associates to provide an exceptional experience for our Guests by executing efficient and productive inventory and replenishment management. Additionally, this role provides training and coaching to associates working Backstage to entice and delight our Guests through an engaging and interactive “shoppertainment” environment.
Principal Accountabilities:

DRIVE RESULTS / GUEST SERVICE- ACHIEVE OUR GOALS BY DELIVERING THE MOST FUN RETAIL AND GUEST EXPERIENCE
· Develop and implement all inventory control processes and practices under the approval of store director;
· Monitor, review and update the SOPs according to needs;
· Assign the storage areas in accordance with the efficiency, rationality and functionality;
· Supervise the backstage and inventory associates to complete the stock out & in procedure that is tally with the inventory record;
· Proceed the regular cycle count and annual physical inventory audit, and calibrate with S&F;
· Deliver inventory daily report;
· Carry out the safety practices to prevent fire and theft in the backstage;
· Coordinate with other depts. to demonstrate high performance to run the store operation;
· Role models the behaviors of an effective Manager on Duty to ensure achievement of all sales objectives and goals
TALENT MANAGEMENT- DELIVER AN EXPECTIONAL RETAIL EXPERIENCE BY DELIGHTING OUR GUESTS THROUGH OUR FUN, KNOWLEDGE AND PASSION FOR OUR BRAND
· Trains and educates Associates on storage and inventory processing knowledge,
· Coaches and provides feedback to team on a regular basis;
· Holds team accountable to partner with merchandizers for productive replenishment request;
· Coaches associates in the moment to reward outstanding results / behaviors and to redirect and improve developmental opportunities
· Manages a group of assigned backstage associates ensuring clear expectations are communicated, results are followed up and accountability is applied;
· Ensures all associates are upbeat, engaging and fun;
· Trains and educates associates on new product knowledge and new merchandise presentation techniques;
· Cross trains associates and supports peer to deliver a great guest experience for Onstage or Backstage roles
· Writes, and delivers associates reviews as required
· Participates in associate interviews, on-boarding and training
PRESENTATION EXCELLENCE- CREATE A VISUALLY EXCITING MERCHANDISE PRESENTATION BY DELIVERING OUR BRAND STANDARD PROMISE
? Partners with Manager On Duty to uphold M&Ms World visual standards and product placement as directed by corporate team
? Ensures all areas Onstage are neat, clean and organized and filled to the correct capacity and that all styles and sizes are represented
? Proactive in recovery of Onstage by folding, sizing and detailing standards to protect the stores appearance and with a sense of urgency
? Consistently adheres to stock processing standards
? Ensures box office is stocked with bags, boxes and supplies
? Ensures back stock is neat, and organized
? Complies with all safety standards
