Job Description:
1/ SAMPLING
Follow up sampling process: Make sure samples are done fast and correctly
Assist suppliers/factories in their fabric choices and colors.
Check conformity of sample before sending to France (general aspect, measurement..)
Record, store samples and data in our office.
2/ PRODUCTION
Make sure supplier have all informations prior to production. Which means make sure we receive clear and complete information and request from France.
Being proactive on the potential problems. This start at the sampling stage.
Make sure goods will be delivered timely and in the requested quality
3/ PROCESS
Follow implemented working process. Ideas for improvement welcomed.
Explain suppliers our working process.
4/ TRAVEL
Travel every time needed to factory to check on problems or to make sure everything is running ok.
Optimize traveling destination and time.
5/ DISCREPANCIES
Help to solve problems and issue with suppliers (quality, delay etc...)
6/ GENERAL
Each merchandiser is responsible for her orders.

1/More than 3 years in trading company/factory or textile
2/English speaking.

Retailing and distribution have been in our blood since the creation of Vetimod in 1981. Today, through its brands, Cache-Cache, Patrice Bréal, Scottage, Bonobo,Morgan and Lacity, the Group reaches 50,000 customers a day. We adapt to fashion trends in real-time thanks to our testing and market intelligence tools. We improve our sales and customer satisfaction levels season after season.
