职位描述：
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Managing and directing intelligence-led investigations and enforcement actions against persons/ organizations that are involved in the manufacture, distribution and/or sale of goods bearing counterfeit UL marks.
2. Analysis of intelligence and evidence dealing with the counterfeiting of UL marks.
3. Managing the performance of external contracted security/private investigation firms including monitoring of invoicing and financial expenditure.
4. Produce investigative reports for GSBP management and UL Legal review
5. Obtains adequate evidence to support administrative, criminal and/or civil actions in consultation with UL management and legal team, law enforcement and/or prosecutors.
6. Preparation of investigative reports for internal and external counsel, law enforcement and/or prosecutors.
7. Be a contact point for law enforcement agencies and do the onsite support when required.
8. Provide affidavits, victim impact statements and/or testimony in support of criminal proceedings as needed.
9. Working with enforcement agencies and customs authorities as required – including conducting anti-counterfeiting awareness and UL mark identification training.
10. Partnering with law enforcement agencies, customs officials, regulators and government agencies, industry organizations, and other rights holders on behalf of UL.
11. Efficiently utilizing UL’s case management system (OSCID)
12. Auditing and evaluation of procedures, processes and systems; recommending improvements to the GSBP program based on industry best practices and experience.
13. Assist in the development of effective ideas, strategies and action plans to ensure the integrity and protection of the UL marks
14. Other duties as directed

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. 5+ years’ experience with managing trademark counterfeiting investigations and projects.
2. Law enforcement background preferable, but not necessary.
3. Excellent oral and written communications skills (Fluency in English and Mandarin required but other language skills such as Cantonese would be a definite asset). Will be required to deliver presentations on behalf of UL at various conferences, trainings and other events.
4. Substantial intellectual property enforcement experience, Including: research, intelligence analysis, formulating and executing investigative and enforcement actions, review and preparation of investigative reports.
5. Strong working knowledge of law enforcement and customs procedures, including the gathering and retention of evidence.
6. Proven ability to coordinate complex investigations with law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies.
7. Possessing Internet investigation skill and online enforcement action experience.
8. Experience working with and managing private investigation agencies.
9. Sound judgment and a demonstrated ability to make timely decisions.
10. Highly organized, analytical and detail-oriented with superior time management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task prioritize tasks.
11. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets.
12. Candidate with an established network of contacts in relevant governmental and law enforcement agencies has an advantage.
13. Strong communication skills necessary to effectively work effectively as a team member with UL staff, law enforcement, clients, and other stakeholders globally.
14. Strong presentation and report writing skills.
