JOB SUMMARY
Facilitate development and commercialization of frames and components manufactured in SE Asia. Service CSG Design and Product Management teams by traveling to and working directly with key factories and suppliers.
PERSONAL RELATOINSHIPS
Based in Dongguan, China, with other PRC-based CSG R&D and QA staff. Reports directly to Manning Yuan, Sr. Global Project Engineer, Taichung Taiwan
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage project development, qualification, and bringing products to market; support manufacturing and quality systems by:

？ Working with divisions and suppliers to coordinate final/approved specifications, drawings, and renderings.
？ Monitoring the overall progress of new project quotations.
？ Communicating with project manager and vendor about project development details.
？ Reviewing BOM based on information that division/ or vendor provides and communicating comment/suggestion/solutions
？ Following-up with suppliers on the development samples to meet our requirements including sample on-time delivery
？ Following-up with suppliers in the pre-production stage on samples verification with QC team in China
？ Support quality team for parts & track testing qualification before mass production
？ Support pilot and mass production for continuous improvement. Work with suppliers and 2nd tier suppliers (parts makers) to resolve inline issues:
？ Pre-Production Samples confirming -
？ Artwork and product functions confirmation
？ Regulatory testing confirmation
？ QA review
？ Issue of pre-production samples inspection report

2. Monitor the vendor dynamic and periodical report to division.

3. Market intelligence, including material market cost, China Customs/Government regulation, competitors’ movement.

JOB REQUIEMENT

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

1. College above, minimum 5-10 years manufacturing or trading experience on bike accessories
2. Sufficient vendor resource and familiar with the international business status of the bike accessories
3. University / College graduate or equivalent; engineering/technical degree preferred
4. Working experience at buying office or foreign invested company is preferred.
5. Familiar with USA market will be plus

SKILLS:

1. Fluent in Chinese and English both in speaking and writing is essential.
2. Excellent leadership and ability to work independently and remotely
3. Strong understanding of alloy/composite manufacturing processes
4. Strong understanding of CAD and technical drawings
5. Organized character in person for business
6. Computer skill for MS office
