AB Agri China, a company of Associated British Foods, is looking for a Chinese/English bilingual Strategy Summer Analyst. The job reports the AB Agri China’s New Ventures Director and is based in Shanghai at the AB Agri China Headquarters.
AB Agri is the Agriculture Group of Associated British Foods. Associated British Foods is a diversified international agriculture, food, ingredients and retail group with global sales of £10bn, and 102000 employees in 46 countries. The group has within its portfolio a number of market leading businesses and brands many of which have operations in China, including AB Mauri, British Sugar, Primark, AB Ingredients, Twinings, Ovaltine, Jasol, and Tip Top.
AB Agri operates at the heart of the agriculture industry with activities that stretch from “plough to plate”. The group supplies technology based products and business solutions to a wide range of customers in over 60 counties, the business has over 2000 people in the UK and overseas and markets products and services through circa 20 businesses in 60 counties. China is the second most important market after the UK.
You will:
? Work on designing business plans and sales strategies for 2 new ventures within AB Agri China
? Play the role of translator when needed
? Participate in the definition and implementation of the new strategy
? Gather data on competitors, clients and suppliers, present findings and draw your own conclusions
? Assist the New Ventures Director in his day-to-day interactions with employees, clients, advisors, shareholders, suppliers and partners

? You have a strong business education and studied accounting, finance, strategy and marketing
? You have an analytical mind: an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
