Jot Title: Business Development Manager – Maintenance (Shanghai & South China Region) Department: Sales & Marketing Department (Maintenance Division) Reports to: Sales & Marketing Department Manager Job purpose: This is a B2B commercial role within the service industry; in charge to develop the Facilities and Industrial Maintenance market in respective regions within China. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Develop the facilities and industrial maintenance market in respective regions within China. Enhance your personal network to bring added value and new prospect opportunities to our sales. Able to comprehend engineering, material and process issues and translate those into specific projects with commercial potential. Work as technical support with branch salespersons in developing and enhancing maintenance sales processes and achieving maintenance sales target. Help to conduct competitive analysis and promotional strategy. Identify valuable prospects, sales plans preparation and implementation. Build the maintenance prospect list and segmentation; then conduct cold calling and organise initial meetings. Conduct company presentations to clients and potential customers. Identify the technical and commercial needs of the client. Provide customized bidding answer and follow up with proposals and costing presentation. Support in preparing and implementing marketing plans. Defining and consolidating database for each necessary segmentation. Identify and upgrade existing database. Support Marketing department in presentations and brochures definition. Requirements: University degree with major in mechanical, electrical, technical science or other engineering disciplines. A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Facilities Maintenance market as Business Development Manager. Process mind oriented and understanding of the service industry and the facilities management delivery process. Strong team working skills, high problem solving skills and able to think outside the box and anticipate problems. Familiar with facilities equipments such as High voltage power equipments, boiler system, compressed air system, high vacuum system, HVAC system, emergency generators, cranes, etc. Knowledge of ISO9000, 14000, OHSAS 18000 preferred. Familiar with Word, Excel and other MS tools. Good oral and written communication skills (English & Chinese). Willing to travel for work.
