Main Responsibilities:
? Responsible for providing technical support and for managing the China regional process engineers.
? Responsible for providing technical support to customers and providing customers with sound technical solution
? Work with sales team and plant management team to develop new customers.
? Responsible for making technical presentations to customers with local sales people or at industry meetings to ensure that Bodycote is recognized by our industry as a technical leader with the largest depth of knowledge base.
? Responsible for supporting each plant to solve their quality or process problems.
? Provide technical training to individuals whose work affects quality issues in the requirements of the Bodycote Management System (Internal Quality System).
? Interface with other departments to provide technical assistance, resolve problems and monitor process-related quality issues.
? Acts as a member of China regional management team and performs other duties as dictated or required by the China group.
Qualifications & Skills:
? Education: MB or MS in Metallurgical Engineering or Heat Treating.
? Experience: Minimum 5 years working experience in heat treat technical field. Preferably candidates have 10+ years heat treat experience in western manufacturing companies in China.
? Requires a proven, successful track record of problem solving, heat treat process development, vacuum and atmosphere furnace knowledge, metallurgical evaluation, presentation skills, sales techniques, and general business practices
? Minimum of 2 years department management and 5 years direct supervisory experience.
? Must be capable of pricing jobs by reviewing blueprints, developing load pattern, estimating cycletime, possible fixturing/tooling costs.
? Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
? Must be thoroughly familiar with the automotive requirements of TS16949, CQI-9, APQP， PPAP，etc quality systems.
