职位描述：
Major Responsibilities:
1) Responsible to provide technical solution to customer for new product application by using CAD system and technical presentation in GDPIM 1&2 phase for components and GDPIM 2&3 for fasteners;
2) Responsible to evaluate customer-supplied specifications and generally accepted standards from a technical point of view.
3) Responsible to introduce TRW standard products in the technical departments of our customers, and acquire new development projects as a result of the customer support.
4) Responsible to Work closely with the Product Engineering and Sales departments to support development projects and production projects.
5) Responsible to control of internal and external development activities under the GDPIM process. Planning and monitoring of project costs and development milestones according to the project plan.
6) Responsible to Utilize internal and customer quality management systems and appropriate documentation according to TRW's policies and procedures to support the development.
7) Responsible to support Product Engineering in the creation of design verification plans, DFMEA's and material selection. Coordinate and participate in design meetings and product evaluations internally and at customer locations.
8) Responsible to take an active role in providing design direction and support to Design Engineer counseling and assisting as needed.
9) Responsible to evaluates existing parts and bookshelf technology for use and adaptation in new applications, including different materials and finishes;
10) Responsible to consult with internal and customer engineering staff and other pertinent technical support personnel on complex and unique problems;
11) Responsible to ensure that all customer-related requirements regarding drawings, data and other design documents are maintained.
12) Responsible to ensures compliance with customer specs and policies through the use of TRW policies and procedures including APQP, GDPIM and QS9000;
13) Responsible to provide regular status reports of their development projects to the Head of Development and the Plant management.
14) Other tasks or instruction as provided by supervisor or TRW management

Education and Experience:
1) Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
2) Minimum 3-5 years experience in the design of advanced plastic components
3) Experience in the Automotive Industry
4) Experience with customer/supplier contact and other cultures are in advantage
5) Engineering manual and related standards
