Minimum Requirements:

- Diploma or degree holder with min 1 year relevant experience. Some experience in similar position;
- Sourcing ability & good relationship with suppliers;
- Business sense and negotiation skills will be appreciated;
- Self-motivated, well organized, able to work independently and under pressure;
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin;
- Working knowledge of computer skill (Microsoft office programs (excel, word, PowerPoint).

Job description:

- Responsible for sourcing activities, order follow up, market study and identify qualified suppliers with competitive pricing, quality and service level.
- Negotiate price and terms with suppliers. Collect samples from suppliers and forward to head office.
- Monitor and support import processes to ensure goods arrive in Portugal on time.
- Communicate with suppliers and commercial divisions on a timely manner to solve all the issues and problems pro-actively.
- Update the company database on a timely basis and ensure the completeness of the information obtain.
- Coordinate and prepare visits to trade fairs and suppliers.

- Team work spirit: collaborate with all stakeholders of importation process, such as: Planning Assistants, sourcing Managers, other merchandisers, accounting assistants;
- Capacity to communicate and explain technical issues;
- Capacity to deal interaction between suppliers and head office;

- Must know all relevant sourcing/ merchandising procedure;
- Familiar with China market for specific business area;
- Some price negotiation skill;
- Capacity to analyses potential problems in merchandising and capacity to identify the solutions that can be implemented;
- Autodidact person: interested on continuous learning;
- Strong problem solving skill
