Supply Chain/Sourcing Engineer – South China Operations
Our company seeks a dedicated, professional and trustworthy employee to assist in our Songgang, Baoan, Shenzhen sourcing activities. This person must be willing to work hard to locate and secure sources of supply for quotation and manufacturing. Candidate must have the ability to understand basic product design requirements and then secure sources of supply based on these requirements. This position is full-time and does not permit the employee to retain other employment outside of the company.
Requirements:
1、 Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience locating sources of supply who can produce mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical parts and products.
2、 Proficient at using computers and internet search engines to locate sources of supply and products.
3、 Educated as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or related experience with the ability to read and understand part drawings, schematics, BOMs and product requirements.
4、 Understanding of manufacturing principles in injection molding, castings, stampings, machining that will be suitable in selecting sources of supply.
5、 Familiar with production/process controls and quality systems.
6、 Disciplined, self-directed, task-oriented.
7、 Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
8、 CET 6 8 in written and spoken English and Fluent Mandarin.
9、 Ability to work independently and faithfully.

2、 Locate, pre-qualify and secure new suppliers through various means; Internet, trade shows, publications, networking.
3、 Responsive communication and support to corporate office and preparation of project management reports.
