Job Title: Quality Control Specialist – Outdoor
Location: Foshan, China or otherwise specified
Reporting To: Quality Control Supervisor
Key Responsibilities: The Quality Control Specialist inspects all our Sanitary WARE & OUTDOOR FURNITURE to ensure quality compliance in accordance to our quality control specifications. The responsibilities of the Quality Control (QC) Specialist fall into three major areas:

1) Quality Monitoring
- Take full responsibility of inspecting assigned product lines to ensure that finished products are within required product technical specifications as agreed in the Quality Control Specification Guidelines
- Communicates quality and/or production problems and issues as they arise to Supplier and QC Supervisor and works to proactively resolve issues and make decisions on whether PO is approved to ship
- For POs not approved to ship, must immediately notify QC Manager, Logistics Supervisor and Supplier export department
- Proactively works with Suppliers to provide recommendations to reduce the cost of the product and/or manufacturability. Works directly to improve the overall execution of the Supplier base including Supplier performance, Supplier development or transition plans, Supplier capacity constraints, and cost reduction opportunities
2) Supplier Interface
- Work with Suppliers to resolve product return claims
- Proactively monitor new products manufactured by Suppliers and bring them back to the Sourcing and Product Development (PD) Department for new product development consideration
3) New Product Transition
- Work closely with the Sourcing and PD Department to understand new product technical specifications, quality and delivery commitments once a new product line is launched
- Assume full responsibility of new product lines after product launch
Requirements: - BS / BA required (Engineering or other technical degree preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in Quality Control of Outdoor and Outdoor Furniture and related products
- Self-motivated, able to manage complex situations and issues
- Good written and verbal communication skills and communicates information on a timely basis
- PC skills, including use of the Internet for communication, excel spreadsheet analysis, and word-processing
- Excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent in English written and oral
- Experience in Outdoor and Outdoor Furniture preferred and considered first
