Your mission
To strengthen our Supply Chain & Logistics team, Dorel Juvenile Asia Sourcing Operations (DJASO), is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner who will manage adequate inventory levels to meet the delivery service expectations and delivery objectives.

In this position you report to the Supply Chain Supervisor.

Key responsibilities
The Production Planner is responsible for planning production requirements (and for planning and ordering components) in order to take care that the right product is available in the right quantity at the right time against the lowest costs.
Furthermore you will:
? Responsible to review supplier’s monthly factory production schedule and ensure any misses to plan are quickly recovered to prevent shipment delays.
? Production capacity planning analysis, understand how to balance production capacity for production line at the supplier factory, as well as understanding material capacity constraints (bottle-necks).
? Ensure supplier is not planning production beyond capacity limitations.
? Weekly comparing actually production output to production plan output. Identify any impact to production plan and delivery plan.
? Organize weekly production planning meeting, review current week new orders implementation.
? Coordinate with supply chain any change requests for order implementation including delivery schedule and demand quantity.
? Coordinate with supplier materials buyer for all potential or occurred materials delay or shortage.
? Support supply chain to meet on-time delivery target, review order history of customers, forecasting potential increase from customers.
? Understand forecast and open PO status to assist supplier’s to plan production and ensure on time delivery.

Your profile
As a Supply Chain Planner, you have:
? Above college degree, major in business administration or engineering or close.
? 5 years above working experience of production planning management in manufacturing industry.
? A good knowledge and experience of ERP applications, such as SAP, mfg/pro and so on but SAP is preference.
? A certain knowledge and experience of capacity analysis and planning.
? Good coordination ability in people communications, motivating, team work, and problem solving.
? Excellent in focusing on detail and professional approach in timely implementation of production orders.
? Good written and spoken English
? Very strong capabilities to work with Word, Excel and Power point application

? Strong skills on export documentation & shipment scheduling
? Strong negotiation skills
? Good skills on material planning and production process
? Good analytical skills & detail oriented
? Strong team work skills in multi-culture environment
? Proficient in spoken and written in English
