Responsibility:


The main responsibility of a Senior Control Engineer is to develop and implement innovative control products for pulp and paper processes on ABB’s control platforms. The developed products will aim at improving paper’s quality and maximizing papermakers’ productivity. This associate will directly participate in development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinate with other resources, and create high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets. Aside from R&D responsibility, this individual will also provide strategic sales and application supports and life-cycle product management.







Requirements:








PhD in engineering (preferably in control, software, electrical, computer, chemical, mechanical, or paper) with major in process control, signal processing, and software.

Application knowledge in pulp and paper processes.

3-5 years experience in design or implementation of industrial control systems, preferably associated with pulp and paper processes.

Technical expertise in process control systems, advanced control techniques, digital signal processing, imaging analysis, data communication, system diagnostic methods and PC-based software development.

Professional skill in design, analysis, and implementation of control systems

Fluent communication in presentation, conversation and writing in English

Team work and team building behavior
