职位描述

Our client is a leading European manufacturing company in the power control, power transmission and renewable energy applications industry, providing specific solutions for industrial applications, automation and mobile equipments. They manufacture a complete range of gear motors, drive systems and planetary gearboxes for a wide variety of applications around the world.

Today the company has 6 production plants and branches in 14 countries, with a global workforce of more than 3100 and a turnover in excess of Euro 610 million. The company generates approximately EUR 330 million in 2010. They started to sell in China from 2004. Until now it has around 150 employees, divided into sales (30 people), logistic and assembly (small team). Furthermore to its Shanghai presence, BDS has representative offices in 5 different cities within China (BJ, SZ, CS, SY, and GZ).

In order to meet the challenges of today’s complex and continually changing market, our client has divided their China business units into 3 sectors: Industrial, Photovoltaic & regenerative, and Mobile & Wind Solutions. By 2011, the Industrial Division generated sales revenue of RMB 150 million, however they are confident to triple their sales in the next coming year.

Now they are urgently looking for a BU Country Manager for the Industry Division, who will be the key enforce for its China commercial activities and leading the teams of sales and operation.

B) Job Summary
The CM is a person highly oriented to Business Development and will define and execute strategies to strengthen and improve the company's market position and capitalize on China's industrial growing demand.

C) RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible of Sales Budget and P&L of the assigned division (70%)
2. Responsible of operation running smoothly in assembly center (30%)
3. Manage directly the key customer nationwide
4. Drive sales force and provide tools to be successful. Provide targets and check regular activity and performances of the team
5. Run the sales network in order to be aggressive into the market and create conditions for the salesmen to be preferment in a independent basis
6. Provide experience of applications and drive sales to look for this applications and be able to select and give added value to the proposal
7. Responsible of the business Development of Industrial and photovoltaic in China.
8. Provide monthly sales plan to Logistic and drive sales to implement process of working. Make understanding the customer of the "supply chain" importance
9. Ability of talking and communicate with HQ all the possibilities in term of development of new sectors/products of the market
10. Provide Marketing and Communication guide lines and explore and analyse all the factors of success/not success of our solutions.
11. Map competitors and applications in order to drive business in the right direction
12. Ability in set up and develop relationships with high level management of the top Customer in the Chinese market

C) WORK RELATION & PLACE
? Report to: BU General Manager (there will be a transition period with current BU CM)
? Location of work base will be Shanghai with full availability to travel all around mainland China (50% of the time) and eventually to the HQ in Europe.

D) POSITION REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS
? Bachelor of Engineering Degree, or above (preferable in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable engineering discipline), MBA will be a plus
? Above 10 years of relevant work experience in sales and management including at least 5 years as a Sales Manager or above in an international working environment
? Proven ability in sales
? Network of contacts in the industry
? Strategic mindset
? Budgeting and reporting capability
? Strong leadership skills
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
