Production Coordination (60% of role)
? Support the London supply chain team, to coordinate production of all Talking Tables, Customer Own Label andSupermarket projects.
? Conduct frequent production visits to existing factories, checking on progress of orders and standard of product.
? Measure and report daily on supplier performance to London team, highlighting any issues.

Sourcing Support (10% of role)
? Support UK sourcing and technical team by conducting pre site visits, when required. Communicate observations andrecommendations back to London team.
? When required, seek out new suppliers:
? To respond to new sourcing requirements

Quality Assurance Support (10% of role)
? Build and coach set of trusted suppliers in China on Best Practice.
? Work with suppliers to ensure quality of specification is adhered to.
? Manage the AQL inspection schedule and work with UK team to support on the approval of shipments.

Technical Support (20% of role)
? Work with UK technical team to ensure all suppliers are technically and ethically audited and GREEN.
? Proactively work with suppliers and UK team to help close out NC’s from Technical and ethical audits.

Characteristics
? 5 years’ experience in Account Management / Merchandising role
? Excellent written and spoken English
? Familiar with export trade, particularly UK requirements.
? Experience of working with Major UK suppliers
? Be a team player and happy to be part of a small team, indeed on their own, initially
? Self-starter with initiative
? Comfortable in fast paced environment
? Interested in party products and how customers use them
? Organised and accurate
? Flexible as necessary
? Friendly, fun but firm personality
