Maersk Group Procurement is looking for new graduates for our Procurement Graduate Program in Shanghai!

You will during the graduate program be seconded to one of the other offices and/or teams in the global procurement organization.

2. Key responsibilities:

You will be part of a project team responsible and accountable for running projects and programs for different business units in close cooperation with internal stakeholders representing anything from usd 5m to usd 500m in annual spend.

As a graduate you will act as Assistant Project Manager through which you will get exposed to a variety of classical consultancy tasks e.g.:

· Participating in and contributing to creative idea generation workshops with suppliers and internal stakeholders

· Developing new models to analyse supplier offers and quantify total costs and total values of ownership

· Mapping and analysing data on current spend patterns and identifying cost drivers and opportunities in complex marketplaces

· Communicating complicated messages in compelling ways to senior levels within the businesses

· Preparing different types of negotiations

Finally, you will have significant responsibility from the start and be expected to execute and deliver on time and in line with very ambitious 2015 targets.

3. Who we are looking for

Our employees represent a wide range of educational backgrounds, work experience and nationalities - most important to us is your personal skills. You must thrive in a fast paced, fast changing and dynamic environment and be a true team player with strong analytical abilities and interpersonal, and communication skills. The ideal candidate would look like the below:

· Completed master degree, engineer and/or relevant with excellent academic performance

· Has some project management experience where leadership, planning, communication and stakeholder management are key disciplines

· Demonstrated analytical skills with a very sharp eye for detail

· Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to travel

· An international mind-set supported by high level of proficiency in spoken and written English, and strong IT-skills

· Preferably but not a requirement Mandarin language proficiency
