Responsibility

1. Local project management and on time delivery of all aspects of new product development, including managing tooling and pre-production activities with suppliers, and act as the communication link between the supplier and Mila product development team on all aspects of the project

2. Manage technical communication with all suppliers and potential suppliers in relation to product development plans or proposals including organizing technical aspects of quotations, tooling costs etc.

3. Complete ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Reports) activities with suppliers on all new projects

4. Document control for all technical drawings with suppliers in relation to product proposals as well as project in progress or which have been completed, to include control of issue of updated drawings and specifications

5. Manage engineering change note activities with suppliers

6. Ensure that tooling audits are regularly performed and tooling registers regularly updated

7. Provide technical input into new supplier selection to advise on capabilities of potential suppliers


Requirement

1. Educated to degree level or higher technical standard in mechanical engineering or similar discipline

2. Good verbal & written English skills

3. Good working knowledge of hardware manufacturing process

4. Good computer skills

5. Good CAD skills using AutoCAD or Solidworks

6. Experienced in project management, can read and manage a timeline to ensure project delivery
