Job Objective:

Lead the department with logistics engineers and packaging engineers to ensure the on time development and implementation of logistics concepts as well as the right packaging according to lean material flow during the acquisition, TtM and series production phase. Integrate new suppliers to Hella processes and support the improvement of supplier performances in terms of logistics. Continuously improve current logistics processes, infrastructure and packaging to reduce logistics costs and increase productivity. Ensure the implementation of corporate standards. Continuously coach your employees and organize trainings to improve capabilities and qualification. Additionally manage the workload of your employees and set priorities.


Responsibility:

A Lead of department

1 Continuously evaluate qualification level and gaps of your employees and define trainings.
2 Regularly evaluate the capacities of your team and request adjustments if necessary.
3 Manage the tasks to ensure on time results with good quality and set priorities if necessary.
4 Report to the plant logistics manager.

B Acquisition phase

Support the sales department by defining logistics concepts, calculate logistics costs and consider all customer requirements.

C Project phase (Ttm)

1 Ensure the management of all logistics relevant topics in the project phase for new products:

Plan and implement the necessary material and information flow concepts, processes, designs and capacity for inbound, internal and outbound logistics in terms of packaging, transport, warehousing, line feeding (integration in line design) and shipment to customer.

2 Ensure that the strategic and operational concepts & standards are considered and applied (e.g. standard supply classes, standard transport & packaging concepts, warehousing and material handling standards, EDI/WEB-EDI etc.).

3 As part of the project team collaborate with sales, program management, product and manufacturing design, purchasing, Opex, supplier and customer. Ensure that logistics requirements are considered in all relevant departments.

As a crucial element in the sourcing process, specify and ensure the application of logistical requirements (logistics guideline for suppliers, transport/3PL concepts, Inco-terms, supply frequencies, packaging etc.).

4 Ensure that all customer requirements/formats/specifications are known in the logistics department, for suppliers and service providers (3PL).

5 Track and control all the project progress and ensure on time readiness. Ensure that the tools for PEP/GMT are always updated and defined milestones are met.

D Series production phase (OtD)
1 Ensure the continuous improvement of inbound, internal and outbound logistics processes in terms of packaging, transports, warehousing, internal material handling and material control according the lean approach.

2 Ensure the improvement of logistical quality to customer and be contact person for regional and corporate communication.

Internal management of Hella internal logistics audits and ensures the implementation of the countermeasure on time.

3 Ensure the implementation of corporate standards according to CMS.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in Engineering Management/ Logistics/ Business Admin.
2. Automotive industry experience in operational logistics or logistics process engineering with at least 3 years of experience
3. SAP using experience is preferred, process management preferred.
4. Good communication skill, project management, Microsoft Office.
5. Fluent English in oral and writing.

Jiaxing Hella Light Co,Ltd is a new program Hella Group launched in Jiaxing Economic&Technological Development Zone, which mainly provides the headlights, taillights, frog lights and other kinds of automotive lights to the medium and high level automotive manufacturers like Shanghai Volkswagen and Shang GM. The company was founded in Jul 2012,with registration capital RMB200 million. And the new factory is under construction and the total area is 56 thousand square kilometers.
