Purpose
Com&In is a unique resource consisting of specialists in home furnishing, range presentation, store planning, communication, interior design, graphic design, purchasing behaviour, aesthetics and craftsmanship. With these skills and a high level of awareness of the local market, people's living conditions, trends, values, etc., Com&In, together with Sales and logistics are able to present the range in a commercial and affordable way that inspires visitors and make their dreams reachable.

Mandate
You are the Interior Design Specialist within the IKEA Store. You apply your knowledge and skills to creating commercial and aesthetic range presentation solutions that will contribute to the sales of IKEA products and solutions while strengthening the store's task as a leading source for home furnishings ideas, inspiration and smart solutions. You are the expert on life at home in your local market and how to apply it to home furnishing solutions in the store. You develop co-workers by delegating tasks, while being supported by the communication & Interior Design Manger.


Main Responsibilities

Visual Responsibility: IKEA Home Furnishing
- Ensure the commercial and aesthetic appearance of the IKEA Store reinforces the unique IKEA Retail Identity through creative and inspiring range presentation the IKEA way.
- Using IKEA Range Presentation, share the knowledge of how to create rational, functional, relevant, comfortable, convenient, emotional and affordable solutions for life at home for the many.

Commercial Responsibility
- Combine and present the IKEA home furnishing range in an exciting, vibrant and creative manner to reflect and reinforce the Swedishness of the IKEA range, versatility and functionality of products and inspire the target group to make their buying decision.
- Ensure all Combinations and Solutions are connected to everyday life at home, using of the right Store Media for presenting the Product Range

Customer Satisfaction
- To ensure it is easy and convenient to shop at the IKEA store.
- Ensure that shopping at IKEA is pleasant and stimulating. Continuously improve the planning and execution of the store as a media and relevant individual media to inspire our customers to make more return visits more often.

Management & Leadership
- Provide strong leadership through being a living example of the IKEA Culture & Values. Attract, develop, and inspire co-workers by realising the Human Resource Idea and together make IKEA a great place to work.
- Create an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers learning and facilitating the transfer of learning in the workplace.
- Be the leader of home furnishing competence in the store.
