Requirements:
-The successful applicant will have:
-At least 4 years experience in .Net (3.5 and 4.0 - optional)
-Self-direction, autonomy and self-management skills
-Good knowledge of the best practices
-Experience in designing applications with high performance
-Experience using tools to accelerate the development team and for gathering metrics for performance and security
-Experience in fine tuning database
-The ability to think 'outside the box'
-Good communication and leadership skills
-Fluent Mandarin and English
-Have strong negotiation skills
-Experience with cloud computing and/or Azure (both optional, but very nice to have)
Resposibilty:
?10+ years of experience in Application Development and Maintenance projects and teams.
?Experience in resources management (~ 30 FTE team) in a matrix structure, with dotted line reports for business and delivery senior managers.
?Ability to promote transformations and performance enhancement within his scope of work through innovation and leadership.
?Enthusiasm for problem solving, software development process, tireless work for continuous improvement, constantly putting the bar at a higher level to deliver more value to our business partners.
?Work cohesively with other groups or teams within the organization or clients on project/support related matters and jointly determine engagement strategy.
?Ability to build team relationships, managing dynamics to help develop skills for quick and continuous growth.
?Excellent listening, coaching, communication, group facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
?Advanced english skills [other languages]
?Proven track record of delivering systems with high and medium complexity architecture in more than one field
?Previous experience managing of technologies including:
o web-based (Open Source or MS Sharepoint)
o .Net /J2EE
o SQL/Oracle database
o Mobile (iOS/Android) is a plus
?Fluent English AND Mandarin
These will be considered big differentiators:
?Experience working with with distributed teams
?Japanese
?Software development process & agile methodologies background
?Willingness to travel and work in other sites / countries.
