1. Job Overview

- Assist TNM manager to develop business plan & cascade target and budget to achieve a satisfied country performance scorecard target aligned with PRE own business plan.

- Work together with marketing manager and sales to deliver PRE volume & yield targets and increase PRE market share in certain trades and corridors.

- Capacity management for MCC northbound strings and coordinate CCA spaces within PRE whole team. Play an active role to ensure maximization of overall vessel utilization, coordinate with TNM to work out strategy and specific cargo mix plans trying to optimize capacity utilization to fill up the ships by profitable cargo.

- Work together within marketing team to - Provide country manager and TNM manager report figures visibilities related to capacity together with constructive proposal and analysis.
- Acted as line and trade coordinator for northbound countries for country to country dialogue and report analysis.

- Coordinate PRE local surcharges adjustment and execution for both export and import.

- Other marketing tasks such like branding promotion, wechat promotion, giveaway design and coordination, etc.

2. Key Responsibilities

Capacity Management

- Manage within PRE team for efficient capacity management to achieve best space utilization and fill up ships on MCC northbound strings and CCA spaces.
- Work closely with HQ capacity and line team to report allocation issues and optimize capacity management process to fully utilize MCC northbound resources and assist local sales to purchase profitable cargoes.

- Keep close contact with local CCA carrier capacity to best utilize on hand resource.
- Work with TNM on specific cargo mix plan and allocate space to align the strategy to maximize utilization and profitability

- Provide instant reporting analysis for key strings on daily basis and weekly reports for others.
- Assist marketing manager to hold product reviews connect with business opportunities as well as market products analyze.

- Exercise due diligence in all matters.

Trade Coordinator

- Coordinate PRE with Russia and Korea destination office on country to country dialogue, dig out business potential for both CIF and FOB, provide instant market information to TNM manager together with constructive proposals and solutions on deployment study, capacity, competition and plan for the future.

- Provide string analysis including but not limited to performance management, seasonality, commodity, POR/POD corridors, key accounts, etc. trying to maximize utilization and eliminate potential unexpected downfall.

Local Surcharge

- Coordinate PRE local surcharge simplification to align with HQ’s strategy.

- Local surcharge tariff adjustment proposal for both export and import to align with market pace and Maersk Line trying to cover the cost and maintain moderate profit level.

- Provide reports on local surcharge analysis and ensure full alignment with tariff level to avoid unexpected revenue leakage.

Report and Analyze

- Provide country manager and whole PRE team the valid analyze base on all reports, pick up signals, messages and information out of report figures, support TNM manager and country manager on decision making by valuation inputs after report analyze.

Branding Promotion

- Acted as PRE coordinator for branding promotion to comply with HQ instructions and actions.

- Wechat and Weibo MCC PRE promotion for niche ports and other related newsletters.

- Event coordination for venue, administration, invitation letter, giveaway etc.

3. Skills Required
- Strong business, customer and Intra-Asia market understanding
- Experience in line management

- Experience in capacity management is preferred
- Result oriented

- Strong analytical capability and high data quality

- An understanding of East Russia and Korea business and relationship with Main Line Operators are preferred

- Good communication skills

4. Dimensions
- Measured on assigned KPIs and MCC PRE monthly targets/scorecards

5. Authorization
- Authorized to sign and approve all correspondence within the specific sphere of responsibility. Matters of policy and principal nature are to be discussed with the management.
