职位概况

模具工程师将于销售部、采购部和搜索部紧密合作，提供技术工艺知识用于优化生产加工过程。模具工程师还负责有效并持续地通过一系列有序的培训项目提高员工总体的技术知识水平。模具工程师应积极参与搜索、谈判价格、生产加工和质检模具有关的订单。

重要工作职能

· 运用CAD等软件制作复杂的设计、图纸和布局图

· 计算尺寸、重量、生产量或运用数学公式评定质量性能

· 解释和传达技术参数，包括图文展示客户的技术图纸给供应商

· 协助销售部通过评估技术能力挑选供应商

· 在采购安排下拜访工厂、试模、诊断问题

· 检查设备、材料、过程、操作、作业方式和组装来决定质量修订和建议改进

· 为每个采购的模具机器建立标准技术参数。技术参数应详细描述，确保模具机器在质量、节约化加工、寿命和维护简单上处于最高水平

· 在供应商建议的基础上做可行性分析

· 在采购安排下针对供应商的报价计算模具项目的成本

· 起草模具机器的文件（工厂访问报告、质检报告、试模报告）中技术部分

· 参与合同制作：提供技术参数、负责审核模具机器合同

· 审计和监督注塑模生产进程、维护质量、日常结果报告和改进建议

· 在产品失败和加工风险发生的情况下，为销售部提供技术支持和售后服务，并采取相应措施

· 时常关注技术领域的革新和发展、行业动态、熟悉成本底效益高的零配件

· 设计和制作所有的技术图纸和图片上传到公司网站

· 执行采购部下达的关于模具机器相关的任务

· 计划和实施针对采购、搜索和销售的不同水平的培训计划

· 确保采购员和搜索员技术知识的措施性改进

· 持续地获取注塑模材料（特别是塑料）的知识

资格要求

· 熟悉国内模具工厂的分布、操作运营

· 熟练使用下面软件：MS Office, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid Works and UG。熟练图片和视频加工处理

· 熟悉注塑模的各个领域

· 优秀的沟通技巧，能够详细阐述客户的技术要求和技术参数

· 良好的英语口语和书面语表达能力。有一定的英语工作经验。

技巧和能力

· 能够使用图片说明，如设计图纸、示意图、布局图或其他图形协助

· 能独立判断和行动

· 能够通过各种培训计划向员工解释模具生产和技术知识

· 具有高数实际运用能力如线性代数，几何作图，三角函数等。

· 能够安装、调整和维护模具机器

Position Overview
Mouldengineer works closely with the Sales, Purchasing and Sourcing Departments to provide technical know-how towards optimizing the production process.Mouldengineer is also responsible for effective and continuous improvements of the overall technical knowledge of the staff through a well-coordinated training program. Mouldengineer actively participates in sourcing, negotiating price, production process and QC of mould orders.
Essential Job Functions
· Prepare complicated designs, drawings and layouts working from engineering specifications using computer-aided drafting (CAD) methods;
· Calculate dimensions, weights, capacities, or assess qualities by applying mathematical formulas;
· Interpret and convey specifications including the information in legend presented in customers’ technical drawings to suppliers;
· Assist strategic sales department to select qualified suppliers by evaluate the technical competences and abilities;
· Visit factories, trail moulds/machinery/die, diagnose problems under the arrangement of Purchaser;
· Examine equipment, material, processes, operations, tooling methods and assembly to determine quality revisions and suggests improvements;
· Establish standard specifications for each mould/machine to be purchased. The specification shall be detailed and ensure that moulds/machines are at the highest standard in terms of quality, economical workability, lifetime and easy maintenance;
· Make a feasibility study of suggestions offered by suppliers;
· Calculate costs of mould projects against supplier’s quotations under Purchaser’s arrangement;
· Draft relevant technical proportion concerning moulds and machines in the Factory Visit Reports, QC Reports and Trial Reports as appropriate;
· Involve in contract making in providing the technical parameters and be responsible for verifying the moulds/machinery contract;
· Audit and monitor the injection mould production status and maintenance of quality in supplier side, regular report of the result and proposal of correction;
· Secure technical support and after-sale service with Sales Department and take actions in case of product failure and process risks;
· Remain constantly aware of technological developments and innovation and industry dynamics and familiar with the cost-efficient fitting/components brands;
· Design and create all the technical drawings and image files uploaded in our website;
· Perform mould and machine related tasks as delegated by Purchaser;
· Plan and implement multi-leveled training program for Purchasing and Sourcing/Sales staff;
· Ensure measurable improvements in the Purchasing and Sourcing staff’s technical knowledge;
· Continuously acquire knowledge of injection mould materials (particularly plastics).
Qualifications and Requirements
· Knowledge of current situation of the distribution and operation of mould factories in China;
· Proficient in operating the following software: MS Office, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid Works and UG related software. Adept at image and video processing.;
· Knowledge of various fields related to plastic injection moulds;
· Strong communication skills of illustrating customer’s technical requirements and specifications;
· General language skill for both oral and written English. Should have a good background to use English in work environment.
Skills and Abilities
· Ability to use graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids;
· Ability to make independent judgment and action;
· Ability to explain mould production and technical knowledge to employees of diverse training backgrounds;
· Ability to employ practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions, menstruation, logarithms, calculator, practical algebra, geometric construction, and essentials of trigonometry;
· Ability to install, adjust and maintain the moulds/machine;
