Job Description:

-Prepare and review the tooling specification and conceptual design.
-Prepare all upfront tooling information, feasibility study and analysis to tackle the project requirement
-Drive and review the tooling design & tooling approval; provide advice for optimum part design for mold making and in -production, trouble shoot and improve molding process for mass production and end quality.
-Define the preliminary mold test parameter and procedure
-Monitoring to ensure moulds quality and on time delivery
-Provide strong engineering & administrative support for the team in knowledge management; tooling audit & maintain a safety record keeping system for all mold assets data, design and drawings.
-Develop advanced mold making and best use of the current technology applications including machining methodology; -------CAD/CAM/CAE software applications; material choosing and standards for tooling as well as plastic resin applications and process.
-Support for new product development and ensure deliver the product on schedule, on specification, on budget and on quality requirements
-Tooling cost analysis & benchmarking
-To handle tooling transfer and tooling audit
-To liaise with overseas colleagues and mainland or oversea suppliers independently

Job Requirement:
-Diploma / Degree in Mold making, Mechanical Engineering or relevant or equivalent
-At least 10 years experience in tooling design, plastic injection mold and mold making practical experience
- Extensive experience in plastic and die-casting mold design required, plus metal stamping die design or experience etc.
-Experience with co-mold, stack tooling, die-casting and hot runner systems etc.
-Fluent written and spoken English and Putonghua; Cantonese will be an advantage
-Ability to use SolidWorks, Pro-Engineer and AutoCAD
-Pleasant character with positive working attitude, hardworking, able to work independent, with good communication skills, self-initiative and team work characteristics
-Understand problem solving techniques to execute root cause analysis / work flexible hours / handle multiple tasks


The candidate should hold high ethical standard and able to mix easily with wide variety of people with an understanding of team work value. Require excellent English skill to communicate with all levels within the Company . Extensive travel is required.
