Responsibilities and duties

n Prepare and maintain CHC Group’s financial reports, analysis, (investment) budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts. Prepare monthly consolidated financial report and analysis CHC Group’s financial performance, conduct monthly finance meeting with CHC Group Executive Management Team.

n Prepare annua.l consolidated financial statements CHC Group.

n Manage annual financial and tax audits and periodical statutory and tax filing for all legal entities in the group.

n CHC Group’s cash management and treasury duties and manage foreign currency risk.

n Maintenance of clean, accurate and complete financial ledgers and accounting processes.

n Provide the General Managers and Finance Managers of the businesses best possible support to accurate and timely financial planning and reporting and insight in financial performance to maximise profitability.

n Oversee monthly financial closing and reporting of the individual businesses.

n Support Finance Managers to prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flows and investments.

n Maintain an effective internal control system to manage inherent risks of the group and its businesses and safeguard assets.

n Support finance managers with their relationship with authorities.

n Maintain finance IT systems.

n Maintain an accurate and complete filing system for any finance records and documentation, both soft- and hard copy.

n Provide training and coaching for finance managers and finance team on a variety of topics.

Profile and required skills and behaviour

n Extensive experience in finance management, in accounting as well as controlling. Worked at management level for at least 5 years.

n BA degree preferably in Accounting. CPA or similar qualification is a plus.

n Deep understanding of accounting principles (at least PRC GAAP (old and new), IFRS knowledge is a plus).

n Know China tax law and regulations by heart in theory and practice.

n Being able to work across a variety of responsibilities and tasks.

n Work in a well-structured manner and communicate flawlessly on this with executive management team; general managers and finance managers. Manage time well and being able to prioritise.

n Is sensitive to quickly understand the strategies and business rational of various businesses and able to translate this into effective internal control, budgets and forecast and financial analysis and reporting.

n Manage monthly financial closing and management reporting of multiple business units with in total more than 15 companies.

n Experienced in consolidation, financial audits and annual reporting and filing processes.

n Continuously monitor the progress and improvement of the financial functions of the businesses.

n Self-motivated and being able to engage and coach finance managers to further personal and professional development.

n Building effective relationships within the group and with business partners and authorities.

n Sceptical mindset, practical approach, independent thinker. Reliable, committed, integer and ethical behaviour.

n Demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach.

n Must be confident working in a dynamic and medium sized business.

n Have a good understanding of basic accounting software and required Microsoft Excel and Word applications.

n Native Chinese and English working proficiency.
