工作职责主要包括在中国的供应链工厂中执行Primark的企业社会责任战略，进行社会责任验厂，协助工厂制定整改计划和跟进整改行动。
具体包括：
- 依据Primark供应商行为守则进行工厂社会责任审核并完成审核报告；
- 协助工厂进行整改，给工厂提供必要的培训
- 项目管理和协调
- 与NGO和其它相关利益群体沟通等

Primark is in the process of expanding the Ethical Trading team/social compliance and has the position of Ethical Trade Executive/social compliance auditor vacant in China. Applicants must be a legal resident within China and fluent in both English and Chinese.

Primark is a value fashion and clothing chain, trading from 200 plus stores and more than 6 million sq ft of selling space in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Germany and Belgium. Research has shown that Primark is now the largest clothing retailer in the UK by volume.

The Ethical Trade Executive/Social Compliance Auditor is responsible for the implementation and following up of the Primark Ethical Trade (corporate social responsibility) Strategy for the suppliers and factories in the various regions in China and wherever the organisation feels necessary to work.

The Ethical Trade Executive will monitor and support remediation against policies and procedures based on the Primark Code of Conduct (PCoC), national and other applicable laws.

Duties will include:

- Conducting audits in accordance with the PCoC, and the accurate preparation of audit reports
- Supplier remediation, for example supplier training or organising workshops for factory managers, workers and representatives in order to ensure high standards
- Project management and coordination
- NGO and external stakeholder engagement

The role will report to the Ethical Trade Manager in China and the Ethical Trade Executive should possess, as a minimum, the following skill sets and experience:

- Solid and demonstrable hands-on experience of conducting Ethical Code Compliance Audits as well as related activities such as remediation, follow up visits, verification, etc.
- Strong background of footwear industry is an advantage.
- A good understanding of Ethical/Social and if possible Environmental issues and standards
- Exposure to SA 8000 audit protocols, and be certified as a lead auditor
- Excellent communication skills, including very good verbal and written English and presentation skills
- Good analytical skills in root-cause analysis and systematic thinking and problem solving capabilities
- Experience in helping run effective supplier training and workshop sessions
- Exposure to working through multi-stakeholder engagement/initiative models
- Ability to work independently, self-driven while at the same time being in constant communication with the team and line managers
- Proficiency in Information Technology tools (software applications) and Windows packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- A team player
- Integrity
