Job Title: DC-Transportation Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure operational activity is executed at a timely and efficient manner;
2. Ensure the daily shipping plan is created and distributed to multiple site points nationally;
3. Act as a coordinator for the day to day tactical execution between logistics, forwarders, workshop and customers;
4. On a daily basis, collect all the shippable orders and create a shipping plan for each center using optimization software;
5. Maintain contact between logistics and coordinates transportation with related fuchtions;
6. Oversees and tracks the shipment of materials, obtains, organizes, analyzes and interprets data related shipping processes;
7. Communicate at the operational levels between the logistics and its forwarder to ensure timely pick-up and delivery appointments and service issues ;
8. To provide timely and high-quality response to all shipping or transportation related issues;
9. Interface with customers and forwarder to assist in the identification and execution of process improvement initiatives ;
10. Other duties and special projects as assigned;

Job Requirements:
1. Effective verbal / written communication, interpersonal. Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information in English via verbal presentations and in writing.
2. Good teamwork, must be capable of quickly establishing relationships both internally and externally.
3. Must exhibit a true sense of urgency in responding
4. Good computer skills. Proficiency with SAP, Word, Excel, Access/databases email and internet applications
5. Excellent organizational, prioritizing and follow up skills
6. Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workloads
7. Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time
8. Good problem-solving skills
