Job Objective:

Plan and manage all logistics relevant topics in the acquisition and project (TtM) phase to ensure the logistics readiness for series production. Manage the continuously improvement of the material and information flows in the OtD phase from supplier to customer (inbound, internal and outbound) according to the lean and value stream approach in terms of quality, cost and delivery. Implement corporate standards.

Responsibility:

A Acquisition phase

1 Manage all relevant logistics topics with the acquisition team

2 Consider all customer requirements in planning and cost calculations

3 Communicate with customer to clarify open points / specifications

4 Present planned logistics concepts to customer together with the acquisition team if requested

B Project phase (Ttm)

1 Manage all logistics relevant topics in the project phase of new products:

Plan and implement the necessary material and information flow concepts, processes, designs and capacity for inbound, internal and outbound logistics in terms of packaging, transport, warehousing, line feeding (integration in line design) and shipment to customer.

Design the value streams (VSD) according the lean approach.

Ensure the line back planning of packaging.

Conduct all necessary calculations and consider lead times, supply frequencies and target stock levels.

Reinforce the agreements/commitments reflected in the VSD.

2 Guarantee that the strategic and operational concepts & standards are considered and applied (e.g. standard supply classes, standard transport & packaging concepts, warehousing and material handling standards, EDI/WEB-EDI etc.).

3 As part of the project team collaborate with sales, program management, product and manufacturing design, purchasing, Opex, supplier and customer. Ensure that logistics requirements are considered in all relevant departments.

As a crucial element in the sourcing process, specify and ensure the application of logistical requirements (logistics guideline for suppliers, transport/3PL concepts, Inco-terms, supply frequencies, packaging etc.).

4 Check and guarantee that all customer requirements/formats/specifications are known in the logistics department, for suppliers and service providers (3PL).

5 Track and control all actions, milestones and ensure the on time readiness. Ensure that the tools for PEP/GMT are always updated and defined milestones are met.

C Series production phase (OtD)

1 Manage continuously improvements of inbound, internal and outbound logistics processes in terms of packaging, transports, warehousing, internal material handling and material control according the lean approach.

2 Manage the improvement of logistical quality to customer and be contact person for regional and corporate communication.

Internal management of Hella internal logistics audits and ensures the implementation of the countermeasure on time.

3 Manage the implementation of corporate standards according to CMS.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Engineering Management/ Logistics/ Business Admin.

2. Up to 3 years’ logistics management related work experience.

3. SAP using experience is preferred.

4. Good communication skill, project management, Microsoft Office.

5. Fluent English in oral and writing.

Location: Jiaxing, Zhejiang.

Jiaxing Hella Light Co,Ltd is a new program Hella Group launched in Jiaxing Economic&Technological Development Zone, which mainly provides the headlights, taillights, frog lights and other kinds of automotive lights to the medium and high level automotive manufacturers like Shanghai Volkswagen and Shang GM. The company was founded in Jul 2012,with registration capital RMB200 million. And the new factory is under construction and the total area is 56 thousand square kilometers. It’s estimated to put into production in Aug 2013 and the annual output could be more than 2200million. Then it will be the biggest Hella factory in China.
