Responsibilities:

Control of the inspection workforce in their day to day duties.

Train and monitor the inspection workforce in their customer inspections

Control of the quality office staff in their duties.

Check inspection reports to ensure compliance with customer procedures

Communicate with both suppliers and customers with questions/problems that arise. Helping to solve quality problems as they arise.

Monitor and control the inspection equipment held by the company for both calibration and maintenance purposes.

Review all new Inspection Plans ( IP's) as received from customers and discuss any issues which are not satisfactory for inspection purposes.

Work closely with the company team members ( Purchasing, Merchandising, Engineering, etc.)

Attend Project meetings for new product introduction.

Reporting to the Quality Director - the right applicant will have at least a Degree in a relevant subject Mechanical, or electrical) and 2 years working experience as a Quality Manager in a similar field.

Must be fluent in both spoken and written English French would be a distinct advantage)

Based in Ningbo, the candidate will have to travel to various supplier sites in both North and South China and may need to stay overnight in different locations
