Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
· Bridge service gaps left by the technical support teams who deliver IT services remotely.
· Execute physical protection and management of IT equipment and IT rooms within own geographic areas.
· Ensure WSM service is complied with APMM policies and MLIT standards.
· Achieve higher and sustainable user satisfaction.
Specific responsibilities of the position:
· Liaise with vendors, third parties and relevant internal teams for below hardware related onsite services. The scope of equipment covered in the activities is desktops, laptops, IP printers and facilities inside IT rooms.
o Hardware related MACD services (move, add, change, delete);
o Solutions for hardware problems;
o Hardware/equipment/IT room maintenance;
o IT equipment set up in meeting/training rooms;
o Assessment of rack space for housing of IT equipment inside IT rooms;
o Assistance in regular audit of IT equipment and security.
· Execute IT asset/inventory management to optimize usage of IT equipment, to dispose decommissioned IT equipment, to track physical inflow/outflow of IT equipment from Maersk premises and to smooth cooperation with vendors, third parties and relevant internal teams.
· Assist internal teams with onsite service delivery in case of failures or unavailability of remote services.
· Provide immediate assistance for VIPs and visitors for hardware issues.
· Assist with onsite backup services such as tape cycle management and off site backup storage where required.
· Perform basic network related tasks such as LAN cabling troubleshooting, connection and etc.
· Develop and comment on standard global process for workspace management activities in line with Maersk's process development standards.
· Recover mission-critical IT technical and service facilities based on IT Contingency Plan and instructions from service owners.
· Comment on service proposals/contracts from WSM's daily support perspective.
· Escalate problems identified in daily work to the attention of relevant stakeholders and management without any delay.
· Serve as an effective linkage between BUs and MLIT within own geographic area to ensure IT solutions and services are integrated with practical business requirements in support of business strategy and planning.
· Other ad hoc tasks assigned by NAS Workspace Management Coordinator, NAS Technical Operations Manager or NAS Regional Account Manager.

· Effective and efficient cooperation with relevant parties for required onsite support
· Instant and accurate maintenance of CMDB and IT asset/inventory files
· Effective management of server rooms and IT equipment inside
· Always cooperative and adding value when working with others
· Consistent driving for best practices, both technical wise and process wise
· Customer oriented in daily work
