ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN SUPPORTING LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS WITH THEIR TALENT ACQUISITION IN CHINA.
Client:
An European leading manufacturer for the lighting, sensor and visualization sectors
Salary:
Competitive Salary (depending on experience)
Starting date:
As soon as possible
Location:
Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China
Reporting to:
SSL Manager
Travelling:
Yes, some travel to conduct market search
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Define the optimum product configuration and specification with marketing
+ Give input on the product roadmap
+ Consolidate the product roadmap and define the platform for future product development
+ Facilitate and push the platform development
+ Be the advisor to the product development
+ Benchmark competitor solutions
Requirements:
+ Bachelor, Master of Engineering in Mechanics, Physics, Material Engineering or similar
+ At least 5 years experience or above in development of LED product or similar
+ Experience in mechanical, thermal, optical or driver design
+ With experience at international companies is preferred
+ Well understanding about the SSL maket, especially on the LED products
+ Knowledge in the relevant standards and regulations (IEC, UL, FCC, CE, UL and ROHS requirements)
+ Familiar with SolidWorks, Thermal analysis, EFD, COMOS, and Optical design Lighttools
+ Collaboration with marketing teams from APAC and EU
+ Fluent English and Chinese Mandarin
