ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN SUPPORTING LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS WITH THEIR TALENT ACQUISITION IN CHINA.
Client:
Global retailer specialized in selling brand products, made with materials provided by various components
Salary:
Competitive Salary (depending on experience)
Starting date:
As soon as possible
Location:
Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China
Reporting to:
North Asia Ethical Compliance Manager
Travelling:
Frequent throughout China, 3 days per week on average
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Implement corporate social responsibility assessment (CSR) for supplier
+ Improve the know-how of CSR/EHS for internal team by training and coaching
+ Lead the project to coordinate team functionally
+ Provide the solutions and support the corrective action plan achieved in suppliers
+ Provide innovative method to make continuous improvement of the project
+ Provide solution for industrial chemical safety usage in factory
Requirements:
+ Bachelor related to chemical studies, safety and management and/or environmental protection
+ More than 3 years work experience in similar position as CSR/EHS in a manufacturing environment or for retail brand such as i.e. Walmart, Nike, Next
+ Rich experience on supplier audit
+ Previous similar experience in EHS/CSR management and training
+ Familiar with SA8000, OSHAS18000, ISO 14000, HR Policy and Local law
+ Working background in MNC is a plus
+ Customer and service sense, Diplomatic
+ Speak fluent English, will train other staff in the company coming from both Asian and European teams
+ Be willing to travel frequently throughout China
