1. Must have very good English communication skills (read; write; and speak) - This is VERY important
2. Work with suppliers to obtain shipping paperwork for outgoing shipments as soon as available
3. Work with suppliers to update and send a shipping schedule at least once per week.
4. Work with suppliers to make needed schedule changes or adjustments (as notified by US office) in order to meet the customers schedule
5. Work with freight forwarders in China on bookings/ ISF paperwork etc. for all outgoing shipments.
6. Update and notify the US office of any schedule changes or delays with production or outgoing containers
7. Work with suppliers to obtain and compile information into spreadsheets for a “Master Standard Packing List” and “Parts Lead Time". These should be updated periodically and sent to the US office
8. A knowledge of forwarding/ shipping would be preferable.
