Main responsibility：

Fully responsible for the daily work of the lab, ensure defined routines are well implemented and conducted in a safely manner
Develop and formalize testing routines following the customer specific requirements, and ensure testing methods are reliable, valid data and data captured and easily retrievable
Organize the work to complete all kinds of testing assignment; supervise and ensure lab engineers conduct testing work strictly in accordance with defined instructions
Performing statistical review of data checking for validity and trends. Communicate with sub-suppliers for ongoing performance
Responsible for ensuring testing’s are made monitoring regulatory compliance for wastewater management
Responsible for preparing equipment annual calibration plan, arrange people to conduct equipment internal calibration and out-sourcing calibration, ensuring equipment at any time is within valid calibration status
Responsible for applying for procurement of concerned equipment, consumables, chemical reagents and standard materials, keeping the laboratory operational
Responsible for rechecking on test report, responsible for the conformity of test result and original data, take major responsibility of the data provided by test laboratory
Responsible for preparation and implementation of corrective and preventative actions of the lab
Participate in the development or update of any safety related operation procedures. Be a role model of the safety culture by prioritizing safety at work
Responsible for development of Operational laboratory procedures & instruction for internal and external usage, based on review of existing documentation and collaboration with relevant process stakeholders
Responsible for analysis current routines & procedures, and lean the processes for improving flow, speed and quality
Member of audit team monitoring compliance with agreed processes
Responsible for highlighting matters of concern to Quality Manager
Undertake other assignment nominated by Quality Manager

Special knowledge & skills

Min 5 years’ experience in Laboratory management
Can work independently and shall have a high ability to understand complex processes
High level of self-control related to quality of work
Work methodically
Knowledge and understanding of nickel/chrome monitoring and testing procedures
Ability to follow and understand Company, OEM and Supplier technical specifications
Familiar with waste water management
Experienced in leading and supporting a team
Be capable of organizing own work, self-driven
Strong oral, written and collaboration skills are essential
Trustworthy behavior.
Good background knowledge of nickel/chrome plating and laboratory experience is essential
