Genimex is looking for a creative, self-directed individual who is ready to become part of a dynamic organization where your thoughts and design ideas will be acknowledged and implemented. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing team in the US and the production team in China, you will be responsible for designing and developing a variety of packaging and marketing materials for our line of houseware products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop innovative structural and graphic designs that are appealing to the consumer and, at the same time, cost effective, easy to set-up and structurally sound
- Create drawings and specifications for new packaging and marketing materials
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and according to the provided schedule
- Recommend needed improvements or enhancements to structural and graphic design products portfolio in order to stay current with customers and market expectations and demands
- Track, manage and provide reports on all packaging projects. Identify needed areas of improvement, as well as successes in improving costs and productivity.
- Direct product photoshoots to maintain brand consistency and communicate desired concepts
- Develop and act as graphic standard steward for brand

The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Demonstrated excellence in design, creative thought, problem solving and the creative ability to imagine and demonstrate ideas
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A fresh perspective on packaging and graphic design and an understanding of current trends in the international marketplace
- Knowledge and understanding of graphic preparation, file management and production processes, plus experience in coordinating photography, illustration, and production resources
- Strong understanding of packaging and printing manufacturing processes, materials, capabilities, and costings
- Expert level skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience with 3D rendering is a plus
- BA/BFA Graphic Design, Package Design, or related degree
- 2+ years’ of work experience in packaging design as demonstrated with portfolio
- Good command of the English language both written and spoken. You will be communicating directly with the US Marketing and Sales team and will need to interpret their direction and turn it into completed work
